The N5550 5 Bay Enterprise Tower NAS Server from Thecus is ideal for small installations and mobile users. Advanced technologies have been used to develop the NAS Server. It features an Intel Atom processor, which is designed to work without fans, thus reducing the server’s noise and power consumption. Equipped with large amounts of DDR3, the CPUs provide better performance. The NAS Server supports multi-user environments, web hosting, intense backup, data encryption, application serving, heavy RAID computations and HD multimedia streaming. The N5550 NAS features McAfee antivirus software, which protects your sensitive data from viruses. It has an embedded PCIe slot. Simply plug a screen through a HDMI output, which enables you to check your server without a computer. You can directly attach a keyboard and mouse to start data management via HDMI.
The N5550 also supports VGA output for attaching traditional televisions, projectors and monitors.
