HPE StoreOnce VSA is a virtual appliance that delivers fast, efficient and scalable backup data storage. It is licensed perpetually or for 3 or 5-years with licenses for up to 4, 10, 20 or 50 TB usable capacity and includes license which enable StoreOnce Catalyst, Replication and Security Pack features.

Capacity upgrade licenses are available. The 3 and 5 year licenses include HPE foundation support for the duration on the license to use term.

The perpetual licenses include extendable 3 year foundation support. 1TB freeware StoreOnce VSA is available for extended evaluation from www.hpe.com/Storage/FreeBackup.

It can be extended by the purchase and addition of a 4, 10, 20 or 50 TB license.

What’s new

Flexible to use, HPE StoreOnce VSA can be configured in Ethernet environments with StoreOnce Catalyst, VTL, CIFS or NFS backup targets. For VTL or Catalyst backup over Fibre Channel you will need a StoreOnce Backup hardware appliance.

StoreOnce VSA can deliver a flexible backup target for service providers and organizations with an ITaaS (IT as a service) infrastructure.

Service providers can rapidly stand-up the StoreOnce VSA and retire it again when the backup capacity is no longer needed to regain the resources.

In multi-tenant environments, one StoreOnce VSA per tenant provides security of backup data between tenants.
